About

The current ASUCD (Student Government of UC Davis) Budget favors funding for the purchase of Tube Socks over programs benefiting the marginalized and underrepresented student communities. The budget to purchase Tube Socks is about three times larger than all the money allocated for all the seven ethnic and lavender/LGBT graduation programs combined!
It is something that doesn’t make sense to us.

Why such importance is being given to Tube Socks?
Why do we, as students, need Tube Socks in fulfilling the experience of being a student attending the University of California, Davis?
How does Tube Socks increase our role and impact as members of the greater community?
Why Tube Socks?

Help us answer this puzzling question. Help us by making your own reasons as to why we need Tube Socks. Share your ideas through twitter, tumblr, instagram, facebook, etc..

Be creative! send us memes, video clips, clip art, tweets, pictures, anything that will show us how important (in your opinion) Tube Socks (or socks in general) are in your life!

Send them to us at through the following:

We want to know what our fellow students think and yes students whether or not you go to UC Davis.

Thank you in advance!

P.S. If you are unsure what the community specific graduation programs are, don’t worry we will address it in the next video :)
